Algarve

The Algarve is one of Portugal´s most popular holiday destinations due to the clean beaches of golden sands (approx. 200 kms) and unpolluted waters, and, the fact that it is relatively cheap and safe.

The Algarve has a rich and diverse culture that is unique (for centuries Portugal was known as The Kingdom of Portugal and the Algarve) and offers a wide choice of possibilities for great holliday´s.
The entire region is graced with over 100 diferent beaches. If you´re into nature the choices are many, from the Ria Formosa Lagoon to Sagres cliffs or from Rocha da Pena in Loulé to Monchique Mountains you have more than 30 official hiking trails.
If you´re a Golf lover the region offers you over 30 courses by some of the world´s best players like Sir Henry Cotton, Sebastian Ballesteros or Frank Pennink.
Sea lovers like fishermans, sailors, surfers, windsurfers, kite surfers or divers will find a paradise to practice their favourite activity. From the sandy beaches of the east to the high cliffs of Sagres in the west the Algarve is the place to explore and discover.
The busiest times are July and August but the Algarve is an all year destination.
